I laughed maybe 9 times ... total dissapointment, maybe I watched a different version?

I thought it was hilarious and creative.

I also think midget clowns are funny...

I thought it was pretty funny..not hilarious...but, fun.

I watched that movie for the same reason I watch any kung fu flick... over-the-top kungfu goodness and incredibly bad cheese-a-licious dubbing.

What other reason are there? :thumbsup

i thought it was pretty damn funny, lot of corny stuff but still good in my opinion.

i thought is was a great film.... hey at least it was different, unlike the standard shit we are so used to...

I hate the fact that I told you that.

I spoke too soon, I was about an hour into it and tuning out at that point, then the funny shit started to happen like the final fight.
Visually and artisitically it was phenomenal.

Wish it wouldn't have been a cheesy film for I beleive it'd have received more acclaim

Gotta understand Stephen Chow humour. If you watch a dubbed version, much of the comedy is lost, I'm afraid. I watched it in Cantonese with English subtitles (since my husband is white), and half of what's translated makes it really...not funny. :disgust

i was surprised - I liked it - thought it was pretty funny in parts - some of the characters were brilliant

Yeah I thought it was ok, not great but ok. Its obvious alot gets lost in translation.
