Worlds fastest street supra for sale [vid]

So the owner has finally decided to sell it. I doubt it'll go for less than $100,000.

Video compilation with phone number if you're interested

Damn, if only I wasnt so damn poor :disgust

It won't go for half that price.

Also, a clarification: World's fastest car....in a straight line. Borrrrrring.

True, there are supra's setup for roadcourses that would annilate it. And it'll easily go for $100,000. 6 speed supra's with 1000 hp go for like 60k us, and barely manage to run 9's (hence why he's using a 2 speed GM transmission).

The 8.4 run was done with 1100 rwhp btw, so it's easily capable of 7 seconds :winkwink:

Who would want to buy a car thats been dogged to shit?

Seriously... If I saw a car with Nos tank and it only had 1,000 miles on it.. To me that means it's been down the track 4,000 times

Mako 09-16-2005 03:11 PM

Would rather have a Viper TT from Heffner if I'm going to go that route. Nearly the same cost if we're talking $100k. Or maybe a C6 Z06 with a Lingenfelter package. Something that can turn...heheh.

He put 5700 street driven miles on it last year, so I'm assuming he hasnt tracked it nearly as much as everyone thinks. He's also rebuilt the engine a few times, specifically after doing the 1520 hp dyno run :)

1,520 rwhp @ 59 psi?!?! Geez those pistons must be toast after about 6-passes.

He's only ever had it at 1100rwhp for drag racing, the 1520 hp was just a one time thing he did for bragging rights, as far as I know.

Even Formula One cars in the height of the Turbo-Era 1980s only ran 32psi...and had to be rebuilt every 140 minutes of drive time. :upsidedow

xlogger 09-16-2005 03:17 PM

Im going to steal that car! :1orglaugh

It's all the tune. If the engine is tuned properly, 32 psi is nothing for the 2JZ GTE. My Supra put out 737 rwhp. :) I'm having the exhaust and wastegate re-routed so I can actually drive it on the street without every cop within 10 kms hear me floor it. :)

Are you on crack?

A Viper with a TT package... well, it's almost 100k just for the Viper, and then another 30k or more to get the TT setup.

You can get an extremely fast Supra for much cheaper, and be more exclusive!

Aww dude, don't get that shit re-routed please. I want to be able to know when you're driving around in Vancouver from 40 minutes away :1orglaugh

Minte 09-17-2005 09:32 AM

All this power...I drove a 186hp Lotus yesterday through a windy country road, that the supra with all it's power would never hang with.

blazi 09-17-2005 09:34 AM

I wish the Supra was still in production!!
