September 12, 2005 - Jon Heder, the star of Napoleon Dynamite and the forthcoming romantic comedy Just Like Heaven, has just signed on to a new comedy called Mama's Boy, according to today's Variety.
The trade describes Mama's Boy as the story of an "arrogant pseudo-intellectual whose ideal home life of living at home with his angelic mom in Texas is threatened when she falls in love with a self-help guru and prepares to marry him."
The Warner Independent Pictures comedy will reportedly mark the feature directing debut of Tim Hamilton. The script was penned by Hank Nelken. And shooting is expected to start in February 2006.
