IwantU Affiliates: some improvements and new features / functionality!

We've been working some overtime here to add some features and funcitonality that should please everyone :)

GeoIP City search

We're pleased to announce that our search is now GEO-TARGETED for cities of the world. This is automatic and you only need to modify your links if for some reason you do not wish to utilize this feature.

Let's have an example, shall we? Let's say you wish to send traffic to our search page, where it will find matches within 100 miles of your surfer's IP. In the case that his IP isn't found, you want to show him matches from Quebec, Canada.

Your link would then look something like this:

http://iwantu.com/click/851001/0/search.love?region=3890

Now if you wanted to show him results anywhere in Canada without the distance, your link would be:

http://iwantu.com/click/851001/0/search.love?country=3&geo=N

You can mix and match parameters to have a fallback region, country, zipcode or any other search parameters we offer. You know your surfers better than us; so you control what and who they find! For a full list of available parameters, view the textlink page (found under our Promo Tools section) or contact your affiliate rep.


GeoIP-targeted Promo Content

We now have promo content available that targets to your surfers' city for that personal touch and improved click-throughs. Text links, free-hosted galleries, full page ads, half page ads, searchboxes and now banners are available. Look for lots more banners to get added this week as they are created! Find the new content from our Promo Tool section.


Site Redesign - Optimizing for Conversions!

As some of you may have noticed, we have started to modify certain pages of our site to optimize them as much as possible. For example, take a look at our new JOIN PAGE. It is already showing better conversions from clicks to free signups after half a day; look for similar changes to the profile page, home page and others in the very near future.


That's about it for now, a LOT of things should be happening over the next few weeks based on member and especially our affiliates' valuable feedback. Thanks to your loyalty and support, we have surpassed the 5 million member mark recently. Let's aim for 10 million now!! :pimp
