The World of Warcraft under attack?
 

I know that WoW servers being down is not new news, but I noticed that their main website its self is down now as well as a number (if not all) of the realms. I have never seen anything like this before.

There's a page to check on realm status, but you can't get there. I tried doing traceroutes from a number of remote servers from around the world and they confirmed what I suspected: The WoW is down.

nevermind, the patch timed out

damn.... 4 million recurring members... That's huge!

You have to go to a place like FilePlanet to get that patch. Even when things seemed to be running fine with Blizzard's servers the other night, I couldn't get the patch from them w/o timing out either.

id say its from the mass patching, Almost every patch or every Tuesday blizzard's servers get swamped, They started blocking ips at the website on tuesdays due to idiots that dont realise most realms are down for upgrades hehe

This is another reason why everyone that places WoW should reroll and come to the realm Mal'ganis its one of the few that are rarely down ;)

I'm receiving reports that some realms are up now, but only a few. My realm, Eldre' Thalas, is up and running right now.
