and.....what about it.

Playa-Deak 09-15-2005 07:31 PM

Is there suppose to be something odd about this regular pic?

Babagirls 09-15-2005 07:33 PM

probably the most normal pic of him i've ever seen actually

Mako 09-15-2005 07:33 PM

Ok clowns, that's enough. Not every picture of Bush is "side-splittingly funny!" and needs a thread. This is getting worse on the board than Paris Hilton threads during her peak, every hour there's some sort of Bush picture thread.

Yes he looks like a moron, almost all of the time. Let's all have a good last look, have a chuckle, and get a life.

You keep opening those threads and you're telling someone else to get a life?

DaddyHalbucks 09-15-2005 07:40 PM

Why is Bush always the object of ridicule on GFY? His speech tonight was very real and heartfelt. You guys need to lighten up on GWB.

Argoz 09-15-2005 07:40 PM

Im so wet now.

Consider it a public service announcement. Move on. It was funny the first 400 times. Now we're getting even normal pictures of him posted as "HILARIOUS BUSH PICTURE OMG YOU MUST SEE THISSSS!!!!!1111!!11" and it's just him looking normal.

Funny once. Funny a few more times. Now just annoying. For god's sake at least photoshop it as NoCarrier would, MAKE it funny.

Rookies.

Wrong. Right wingers are going nuts now that he's trying to appear more liberal. Seems he's losing ground on his most dedicated supporters.

Here's what Kerry had to say after the speech:

"Leadership isn't a speech or a toll-free number. Leadership is getting the job done. No American doubts that New Orleans will rise again, they doubt the competence and commitment of this Administration.

Weeks after Katrina, Americans want an end to politics-as-usual that leaves them dangerously and unforgivably unprepared.

Americans want to know that their government will be there when it counts with leadership that keeps them safe, not speeches in the aftermath to explain away the inexcusable."

I didn't see Kerry whipping out Theresa's checkbook and chartering planes/choppers with some of that half-billion dollar fortune last week to help out either sport...They're all clowns, figure it out. There is no "right" side.

Both are absolutely corrupt and comical in how they've become nothing but ironic characatures of the past, when they actually DID work for the common good.

Paul Waters 09-15-2005 08:07 PM

It looks to me like someone put a lot of time and effort into making Alfread E Neuman look like a president.

Barefootsies 09-15-2005 08:10 PM

I believe the mayor of N.O.'s already summed this up in the first week to something paraphrased to the effect of, "less speeches, more action".

:disgust

Of course you didnt, FOX News doesnt report stuff like that.

BOSTON (AP) -- Even as President Bush tours flooded New Orleans and gets an update on hurricane relief efforts, his rival from last year's election is also headed that way.

Sen. John Kerry left Boston Monday on a UPS cargo plane loaded with supplies for hurricane victims. The supplies include 5,000 bottles of baby formula from Children's Hospital, 5,000 pairs of sneakers from New Balance and cleaning supplies from the New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans.

Kerry would not directly criticize the Bush administration for its relief efforts, but said he has warned about underfunding at the Homeland Security Department.

He also said it's "not rocket science" to suggest that the country should prepare for future hurricanes by pre-positioning supplies so that they can be quickly moved into an area after a storm.

ThunderBalls 09-15-2005 08:21 PM

And I suppose you also missed Gore helping out:

KNOXVILLE, Tennessee (AP) -- Al Gore helped airlift some 270 Katrina evacuees on two private charters from New Orleans, acting at the urging of a doctor who saved the life of the former vice president's son.

Gore criticized the Bush administration's slow response to Katrina in a speech Friday in San Francisco, but refused to be interviewed about the mercy missions he financed and flew on September 3 and 4.

However, Dr. Anderson Spickard, who is Gore's personal physician and accompanied him on the flights, said: "Gore told me he wanted to do this because like all of us he wanted to seize the opportunity to do what one guy can do, given the assets that he has."

ThunderBalls 09-15-2005 08:27 PM

Meanwhile, here's our leader the day the hurricane struck

There is no something special about that pic.

Mako 09-15-2005 09:14 PM

1. Gore helped his family doctor, period. Did he send return flights? Did he organize anything else? Nope. And the Doctor called HIM liberal sheep, and ASKED for help. Gore had to be pushed to do it, meanwhile the guy had saved his kid's life...and got very special treatment compared to everyone else down there btw...Do your research beyond a cute "summary" article next time.

2. Kerry spent no money of his own, not a dime in the efforts. But wait, I thought he was a lefty? Aren't lefties all about wealth redistribution? Why didn't he grab Theresa's purse and send an entire air wing down there? Why just one photo op plane?

Not going to get into a debate with the left, you can't win those. They always end up crying. Both parties are corrupt to the core, there is no party that truly represents our voice.
