There's not really many ways to tell a person's age. Moderation is close to non existent on here, so there's not really much that gets done. My guess is that there's a lot of underaged lurkers. I dont have much problems with 17Y/O webmasters though. :2 cents:

How can kids be webmasters. Wondering how they can afford to run sites. Or maybe better yet how can they afford to webmaster well enough to make money.

By all means a webmaster can be 6years old.

I think alot of people got their start at around 17 going on 18...

is some"one"...I would imagine a lot of them are under 18 and I think that they have to be over 13 when you join. Just a script in the bbv. Just like your board, you only have to be 13. I would hope that if anyone under 18 was caught they'd have their acct termed, but you can't really know forsure, seeing as how I could choose to be 99 if I wanted to when signing up.

There was once this 15/16 yr old that had to get his mom to cash his checks. I'm not going to say who's site he was affiliated with back a few years ago, but he was a millionaire before he hit 18. When the program found out his age his account was termed!

He probably didnt care too much about his account being terminated if he made it long enough to be a millionaire.
