Izz if you are coming to Carmel soon pack sweaters and coats. Last few days have been in the 50s and 60s and I doubt we'll see 70 degrees much more this year. Hell we don't see 70 degrees too often at all but then we rarely get much cooler than 50s or 60s. Depending on what you want to pay per night I'd recomend these hotels: Expensive: The Lodge at Pebble Beach, Inn at Spanish Bay and Bernardus Lodge (Carmel Valley). Nice but not too $$$: L'Auberge Carmel, Hotel Pacific (Monterey), Portola Inn (Monterey) More romantic would be a bed and breakfast which there are literally hundreds of. |
Other than NYC...
Boston is a great town. |

I'd say Compton, Los Angeles. A day of dodging bullets and unwanted sexual advances can be a very bonding experience for a young happily married couple. make sure you take Option A and get the rental car that is a convertible. :thumbsup figueroa is a good street to start on. :thumbsup :thumbsup should only cost you about 600 DOllars!!!!!!!! :1orglaugh :1orglaugh just kidding yo. |
Trenton, NJ
|
perhaps san francisco
|
anywhere in Nebraska! ok I'm kidding
|
San Francisco is an excellent romantic city to visit. See the beautiful historic sites in the City, and then travel out to or stay in some of the wonderful surrounding cities (Sausalito, Napa, Carmel, Monterey, etc). You won't regret it.
There is so much to see and do here, no matter what your interests are. ADG Webmaster |

There's plenty of beaches, and nice restaurants. Just a nice atomosphere overall. |
Charleston, SC
Savannah, GA NOLA used to be a good one Poconos (the champaign glass hot tub, lol) Martha's Vineyard or somewhere near the Cape Gatlinburg, TN Lake Tahoe |
(fact: lol) the napa valley region is the most romantic place in the united states.
|
I love Steamboat Springs Colorado..it's beautiful!
|
Waikoloa, HI

I say Carmel By the Sea in Ca or Napa Valley in Ca.
The Keys in Florida or great too! :thumbsup There are so many! |
face it America is not very romantic.
We destroy our history every day tearing down the old buildings in cities to build malls or a new walmart, gap or starbucks. Some of the most romantic cities in the world are the ones with centuries of history . . . we just don't have that. |
Romantic? Islamorada or the Florida Keys. St. Augustine I'm considering for the next Anniversary.

I always liked to jsut go someplace quiet with a beach, so it really won't matter
Like a bed and breakfast, and promise to turn off my cell phone and not use a computer, so she gets all my attention. It depends entirely on what you wanted to do, or see. So give us ideas of what you'd like to do |
I would say San Diego, it's a nice place and there's a lot of beaches there :)
