Offshore - EU corporate presence?
 

Anyone know how to go about creating a corporate presence in the EU?

I understand that some countries are more expensive than others.

Also, is it true that your presence has to be in the same country as your merchant bank? (The presence is only to get a merchant account there.)

Limited (Ltd) are popular? but in many countries they are starting become a bad rep. I am pretty sure that you can setup an LTD for less then a thousand dollars.

In Germany there are gmbh?s and AG?s, those are the most common. I can be wrong, but I think a gmbh takes 25,000 euro and an AG 50,000 euro starting capital.
