Hey, anyone here converting game traffic to gaming revenue?
I just picked up a pc gaming name that's getting 600-1000 type-ins a day, and while the PPC is running around $15 a day, I wondered if the sexperts here at GFY could advise me on whether this kind of traffic can be converted to poker affiliate revenue.
Seems to me that if just a couple sign up for poker, my revenue skyrockets. I don't normally chase pc gaming traffic, so I'm a little out in the woods on this baby. Like is anyone here doing a poker blog that converts that they could template for me? Any help or suggestions appreciated. :thumbsup |
By the way, if someone's open to buying or leasing this traffic from me, I'm all ears. :pimp

I have one of my previously very poorly performing adult typeins pointed to a poker program and it makes a few signups here and there.. more than it did with adult stuff
on the other hand, a good number of those 600-1k typeins looking for pc games could be underage so you might be better off with ppc just how I see it |
holy smokes, 600-1000 type-ins! would you mind telling us that name?

http://demo.ninjascripts.com Will get you something like that together for free for any domain names you want to put it on if you sign up in our downlines. This goes for anyone with decent traffic type-ins. |
Yea, don't want to put adult in there, as it's not appropriate for the traffic.

Which cam program does the best? Thanks. |
Put a forum on it for that game, turn those type ins into bookmarkers.
Nice and targeted, could build up fast with that many players checking it...then run adsense on the pages internally..etc I know a guy with 10's of thousands of bookmarked gaming traffic...he runs gaming forum and such. |

Care to share the name of the domain?
I'm working on a program for general gaming traffic, but it has quite a ways to go. Once I can pull a good conversion rate with it, I'll drop you an e-mail; but it might be next year. Different segments of the gaming market pay a lot more than others. For example, anything related to MMORPGs (like world of warcraft, everquest) pays very well because of all the people selling gold and leveled characters. I run a general computer gaming site that gets quite a bit of SE traffic but I barely make $1 CPM on it (I have other sitesthat easily do $100+ CPM) |
Yea, prefer not to post the name yet for strategic reasons. :winkwink:
Rupert Murdoch's big spending spree on gaming sites has made it a heated arena. :thumbsup |
|
Oh I know, I'm subscribed to a "News Corp" Google News RSS feed ;)
|
Is it possible that the domain could be used for hosting free web-based games? I know one or two guys who bring in quite a bit of revenue for those types of sites.
|
is it heat.net :)

And what's going on with his world-overtaking blog-empire? Probably nothing? No offense here, but in my eyes it seems like he's good in buying/selling/keeping domains, but all the tattle about "building up a domain" is just hot air. But I might be wrong... |
