And your in canada...i would go with ibprofen for swelling, tylenol 2 (otc) from the pharmacist for pain, & soak in warm water, (if its a swollen joint).

Otherwise prop up the area swollen with pillows & apply ice often.

Take two Vicodin or Percocet and we'll see you tomorrow.

The Other Sweetie 09-14-2005 05:30 PM

Well normally I just take my hand away and stop playing with it. ;)

But seriously, the only thing I know to use for a specific area like that is ice.

If you are not going to the doctor, or hospital, and depending on what it is, I believe the only thing you can buy OTC is a cream or ointment for localized pains. I could be wrong, but I recall a trainer says that in conversation.

You might want to just breeze through or call your local pharmacist, and a lot of times they can give you some help on such questions for OTC. Or advise if you need a script.

try jerking off. then go out and try meeting some nice girls with loose morals.

soak the swolen area in hot water.. as hot as you can stand, for about 15 minutes.. this sort of "opens" things up, then immediately go and soak it into really cold water, this lets the swelling sort of escape through the "opening"

you use hot and cold when you have an injury (usually in joints) to constrict the area and push all the old blood and fluid out and to open it up to force fresh blood back in. if the area he has is swollen due to an infection for example, all that will happen by applying heat to it is that it will be aggrevated and more painful and instantly become worse. but then again, anyone asking for medical advice on GFY should expect to suffer... and we should be allowed to see the pics!
