got virus when submitting asian galleries
 

was using chameleon, and when i went to to do the manual submission i hit a site and got infect with virus and spyware. so watch out if you are submitting to Asian niches.

has this happend to anyone else today?

Ive spent the best part of 4 days trying to get rid of a virus I picked up submitting and Im pretty fucking unhappy about it. I just cant shift the fucking thing and Ive downloaded or tried virtually everything.

and not just the asian sites
was a couple teen ones too
forgot which ones though

and yeah/... I know.. nuthin with out links for proof

Yes, Asian also, and I wasn't even submitting. Doing some market research and got hit by some Trojan that managed to bypass both Avast and Norton. Took an insane amount of registry editing/work to get it out, didn't look good for a while.

Was an AGP TGP, fyi. Wish I had the url, sorry.

I just know I got some funky shit on my box here at the office, time for a sweep I guess....

if you know the name of the virus do a search on Google using that as the search term. you should find some info on how to remove it.

does chameleon and advanced submitter runs on mac?

That happends sometimes to me too, if you know the URL I'd suggest that you move it into a seperate category in your submission DB, just to avoid that you stumble across it again in a few months :2 cents:
