free.host-x.com anyone know of it's fate?
 

I am new to the industry, and descided on using free.host-x.com. The server has been down since Monday, along with my site, anyone know if they will be back up? Are there anyother bannerless free hosts out there? Go Canada Go!:thumbsup

Bro, there are endless threads about this topic, just do a search and read. But to make a long story short, If you go with a free host that promisses No ads, your just wasting your time again..It can't be done.........."as you just found out from this host you just said went down.....

Thank you very much, I will check out your service. I have been reading, there are almost 6500 entries, I just asked for a reconmindation. Why can a free host not work? They came out and honestly told me they would take 6% of my traffic. If managed properly, I believe they could make it work. Go Canada Go!:thumbsup

The problem with the 6% traffic rule is that people who are sending you that traffic won't like that they're diverting their users off into unknown territory 6% of the time.

hosts like that eventually get banned.

all i know is that everytime there is a new host people jump on them,,,, because the low headers/footers or bannerles for one month,,,

then all of a sudden all your hardwork is lost,,,,

stick with the old reliable
smutserver,kinghost you can't go wrong with those two
