He's taking blame for something he had little control of. I respect that.

True. He only named "Brownie" to the head of Fema ....

MikeyFingaz 09-13-2005 03:03 PM

:1orglaugh i love these 'stupid pics of bush' threads, lol. the guy certainly gives out a lot of ammo to be used against him.

Now is this CNN throwing off the 911 honeymoon that Bush has enjoyed, in the wake of Bill Mahar roasting Anderson Cooper?

Or are they reading the opinion polls and trying to get in front and appear to be leading?

Time will tell.

I missed that one. I think Anderson Cooper along with Aaron Brown are the two best reporters CNN has.

It's a news org Paul. First is good footage - that brings profits via increases in timeslot costs from Di-tech and pharma companies! :winkwink:

But on an indivdual level - some CNN staff in New Orleans have performed well. It's obvious much would have been covered up otherwise.

yeah he had little control over deciding to stay on vacation for two more days then spend a 3rd day going to fundraisers before doing anything.

He had little control over putting his friends who helped him get elected but had no experience or qualifications whats so ever into high up positions that, if needed, would require someone with know how in that field.

I'm not saying he is the only one to blame. There is fault on all levels here but for him to finally step up and accept the blame for something he did is not something to respect him for.

I guess on one point he's never done this before, he always deflects blame and insists he is correct so at least this is a step forward for him.

Lots of lesson learned here, Bush taking all the flame but I expect more
of him now that one of his cabinet failed to deliver. Time to step and
and show how things should be done in the land of the free :thumbsup
