Should the colors red and blue when worn in reference to gang affiliation be universally banned?

Some legal jurisdictions ban motorcycle club insignias and colors, so is something slightly amiss?

that wouldn't do a thing ... gangs use dozens of things and colors to show there gang affiliation ... some use green some use white ... not to mention that some brands are for some gangs only ... and sports teams ...
