**POLL** PLAYERS BALL - Ludacris, LL Cool J, Camp Freddy (rock) or Snoop in Vegas
OK, we're getting super close to locking in our artists. I feel like an episode of Rockstar INXS right now.
So now it's time to pick who's right for our webmaster crowd. I've had talks for a while with all of these options, Kid Rock and Nine Inch Nails are no longer in the running, we tried. So I have a rock group that is made of legends,Camp Freddy A very impressive list of artists from Stone Temple Pilots, Guns-N-Roses, Velvet Revolver, Janes Addiction (Dave Navarro) and a bunch more. Check them out before casting your vote, it's an undergroup thing, legends that play for the love of a jam session during private events. We almost had them perform last year, came super close. So who would you choose? Here's my thoughts Snoop Dogg - A great selection, already played the Players Ball in 2001, cam pimped out and would for sure be extremely hot to have perform at the moment, tons of current hits and classics. Ludacris - Very good for a pimp and ho party and is one of the hottest artists out right now, still pretty new school but already has a few classics. I don't know if the masses would appreciate him as much as the other options. I'd love to have him perform, but I want the crowd to be super happy, so read the next 2 options. LL Cool J - A legend int he hip hop time line, has so many hits he could play for over 2 hours staight and the crowd would be rocking. He's also on a hot new TV show and he's a movie star too. He still has hits coming out but with his movie and tv career, not as many as he used to. The chick factor - every hotties melts over LL and that would get a very impressive group of hot ladies in our party for our players. Every pornstar, every amateur, every wife and every female loves Cool J. And, he's got a ton of hits and is loved by east and west. Camp Freddy - Probably the crowds favorite choice since they're a bunch of rock legends jamming on one stage. So read this: Camp Freddy Biography "CAMP FREDDY is not a band, but it is also way more than a jam session?CAMP FREDDY is an ?Occasional Happening?, a freak of (Hollywood) nature. What happens when we get together and play is anyone?s guess. Surprise guests, lounge singers turned heavy rock superstars, some of the world?s greatest guitarists playing three chord punk tunes. I mean, who knows what will happen at the next show? It?s not about money, or managers, or agents, but about motivation and fun? What we all got into the business for originally. We play some of the greatest rock and roll songs ever written, have a real laugh doing it, and invite artists that we respect to play them with us. It?s the real spirit of Rock and Roll." --Billy Morrison, Guitarist / Camp Freddy CAMP FREDDY, headed up by Billy Morrison (Doheny, The Cult), Dave Navarro (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jane?s Addiction), Matt Sorum (Guns N Roses, Velvet Revolver), Donovan Leitch (son of legendary folk singer Donovan), and Chris Chaney (Janes Addiction, Alanis Morrisette) was created for the sole purpose have having a good time. They have, in just a handful of shows, played on both coasts of America, opened the largest strip club in the world, and been joined onstage by an amazing list of artists to perform some of the greatest rock songs ever written. The list of guests that have joined CAMP FREDDY onstage grows longer and more outrageous with each concert. So far, artists such as Moby, Robbie Williams, Ronnie Wood, Stephen Jenkins, Billie Joe Armstrong, Mark McGrath, Slash, Brett Scallions, Macy Gray, Perry Farell, Wes Scantlin, Billy Duffy, Fabrizio Moretti, Stephen Perkins, Twiggy Ramirez, Duff McKagan, Sebastian Bach, Kid Rock, Melissa Etheridge, Gina Gershon, Dee Snider, Gavin Rossdale, Steven Tyler, Juliette Lewis, Chad Smith, Jerry Cantrell, Shelby Lynne, Jonathan Davis, Cypress Hill, and many more have played with the band. They have performed such classics as ?Paradise City?, ?Whole Lotta Love?, ?Pretty Vacant?, ?Jean Genie?, ?You Shook Me All Night Long?, ?20th Century Boy?, ?Brown Sugar?, ?Should I Stay or Should I Go? and many of your other favorite songs. CAMP FREDDY, whose name was derived from a character in the classic Michael Caine movie, ?The Italian Job? will be hosting a show on L.A.?s hottest new radio station Indie 103.1 FM every Saturday from 6 to 8 PM. Half the excitement of this radio program will be seeing what superstar will join them, but, like their legendary live shows, you can be sure a great time will be had by all. OK, now vote. I'll be traveling to Amsterdam in an hour, so I"m looking forward to seeing the results when I check into the hotel. We're close to making a final decision, thanks for your feedback. :pimp |

The Players Ball has done a lot to promote rappers in the past, so how about a little love for the metal fans for a change?
Camp Freddy would be fuckin' A awesome - it's time to support real musicians, and it would definitely be a hard rockin' night to remember. :thumbsup http://www.davenavarro.de/Dave%20Recent/captain1.jpeg Slash and Dave Navarro alone would be worth seeing. I can only imagine who else will be on stage given that list of past guests that they had join them onstage...you know the rockers support porn and would love to use the gig as an opportunity to check out the convention...whaddya say? Besides, Navarro is bangin' Carmen Electra, and who hasn't Slash banged? How pimp is that?!? :pimp ADG Webmaster |
it's a really tough call between Luda and Snoop, but since Snoop has already rocked the ball once. Let's see Luda =)

luda would do good if you can keep the stage clear. entourage from hell. |
either luda or snoop would be great!
|
Been giving this some more thought...howzabout Camp Freddy as the headline act and Carmen Electra as the Emcee? The ultimate 2-fer...
