This one is simple. Everyone says death, I figure if I die - I die, what scares me more is not existing. Not being here. Sure theres heaven/hell/whatever you want to call your 'afterlife'. But the idea of not being HERE. Not being able to see/breath/touch. Scary as hell, wondering what life would be like without "me". Might sound conceited but think about it. The lives you have touched & affect would not have been or will not be.

I agree. not afaid of dying, but afraid of being dead. that, and i have a terrible fear of heights. i can be standing on solid ground, and just look up at a really tall building and i get dizzy and weak in the knees. its the damnest thing.

Sharks...and big ships, submarines...ack! But the absolute scariest thing to me is BUGS ( or spiders, any creepy crawlies)...I have such a phobia about it. I get made fun of because I freak out, but I am so scared of bugs that I would wrap my car around a tree if a bug flew in the window, and if one got on me..I don't even want to think about it....it's not a fear that can be explained to anyone unless they have a phobia and can relate.
