but I do have to say that I felt the same when I realised that the radio station that was playing in the bank I was in the other day was a station just for that chain of banks 'HSBC Radio'. I did feel a bit for the dj but with the number of employees they (and walmart) have that isn't that bad a listnership.

I bet thats not what he had in mind the day he graduated broadcast school though.

No doubt but it is better than not working in the area he wanted to at all. I know I would do it because when I dj online I really enjoy it and the idea of making money out of it at all is a happy one. He probably hates having an approved playlist more than having the job.

I can think of worse jobs...

There is a reastaurent chain here (st hubert) with their own radio network ... but they have a bar ... so it's like beeing the DJ of 80 bars at the same time . Pretty cool. The music rocks most of the time
