I'm not too fond of my oldest dog right now...

730 in the morning barking non stop cuz he's hungry. tony usually has morning detail but since he's not feeling well, i have to get the dog his food. the reason i'm pissed off is that we went to sleep at around 4am. cj (our dog) won't stop barking so its not like i can ignore him or something until i usually get up. grr!
i'm tired but don't want to go back to sleep cuz we have a shoot scheduled for 1130 and if i go back to sleep i won't want to get up.
thanks for the vent!

Try having three kids that get up before the sunrises everyday.

fuck the shoot
get some sleep and reschedual

I havent slept yet, so I know how you feel.

Peaches 09-13-2005 05:14 AM

LOL, my dogs are my alarm clock - up between 7-9 every morning to eat. They almost always wake up at 7 but sometimes I can convince them to go back to sleep until I want to get up. If I ever wanted to stay in bed all day - forget it. What's worse is when I have guests - every wakes up once the dogs are up :(

I bought my dog the automatic feeder and a 5 gallon water bowl.

He is a 110 lb golden retriever and I only fill his food and water once a month

reed_4 09-13-2005 05:29 AM

I'm sorry to hear about your dog. I am experiencing the same problem like yours Mandy. I hate waking early in the morning because of my dog.

hmmm that may be a good investment for cj.

Furious_Female 09-13-2005 05:32 AM

actually, i was sleeping in his room LMAO :1orglaugh
I have a bed here in the office, and so is his food & water dishes & his litter box house. I've been sleeping in here every night for about 3 weeks now cuz the queen size bed the boyfriend & i sleep in is too crowded. i'd rather have my own queen size bed LOL so i cant blame him for "bitching" at me for sleeping in his bed.

He needs to have his on supply of sleeping pills. Make sure he gets more hours of sleep than you do. :winkwink:

hmm doggy sedatives :)

2257-Ben 09-13-2005 09:09 AM

The question is, what is the dog barking at? Sometimes they have a good reason to bark and other times, they just want to bark for the sake of barking... perhaps you should invest in a device called the Bow-Lingual... it's an electronic dog bark translator... Google it... We have one and it's pretty neat.

Pete-KT 09-13-2005 09:13 AM

Im sorry Maybe its nap time already hun :)

RuthB 09-13-2005 09:39 AM

get a St Bernard.. we have one and I can confirm that they sleep 75% of the time! :winkwink: :1orglaugh

(though right now I have to give my dog eyedrops every 6 hours without fail, it's worse than having a baby.. well, maybe not quite that bad :winkwink: )

jockboy60 09-13-2005 09:42 AM

that sucks
