Customer Service....Common sense...
If you were blind, would you get a job as a firearm shooting instructor?
If you were deaf, would you get a job as a music/sound analyzer? If you had no sense of taste, would you be a food critic? NO, NO, and NO. So why if you have horrible people skills and can hardly raise your voice enough over the phone for someone to hear you, would you apply for a job in telephone customer service? Even better, who is the idiot that hired you? /rant |
You ever see the applicant pool for that type of job at that pay rate?

Reminds me of the time about 15 years ago when I was putting in an order with Dominos and the mexican guy on the other end could barely speak english and was fucking up the order right and left...at one point he just gave up and hung up on me.
I call back and ask to speak to the manager..before I could even get a word in edge wise the manager starts to lecture me about equal opportunity this...equal opportunity that. When I can finally get a word in...I tell him..."I understand that. But why would you hire someone who can't speak english to work the phones?" He had no answer...just bullshit intentions on showing how good a guy he was. |

easy
No more loud people are applying for the job. He/she has been the loudest. as far as mexicans go. Not many people that speak english want to work there. It's simple. When you call somewhere, anywhere... verizon wireless, power company, etc. what are the 2 language options and why. Get used to it or suffer a panic attack when it becomes worse. But since I'm mexican, better for me. have a good day. |
