We are going to offer every database commercially available for Geo IP so each user can select the database they feel matches them the best. All Geo IP databases are only 80% accurate, but webmasters like to see their state and city targeted correctly, so we will just offer them all so webmasters can choose which one they think will work best. There was a glitch about 10 days ago, when I suddenly moved from the mid-west to California for several hours. Ever since, instead of telling me I live in Wichita (I don't, but my DSL line does), apparently I now live in a little-known suburb.

I don't know if this extra "accuracy" is real or an ongoing glitch, but since ISP's rarely are located exactly where surfer live, I would have thought it was counterproductive to narrow locations down below city level.

Mine say Sudbury too, but low and behold...i live there.
