Why is .XXX bad?
 

I'm afraid i missed the whole thing. If adult sites are not required to move over to .xxx, what's the problem? Is it just a potential cybersquatting issue?

Well i will give you the main reason.

You dont start new ideas because they "aren't bad" , you start new ideas because they are good right... well the question you should be asking is , Why is .xxx good ? and so far i see no reason to call the idea good ..

Sure, but in order to oppose a new idea you SHOULD ask yourself (or others) why it's a BAD idea. Especially if you're commiting time and money to it.

Thats exactly what i'm trying to say is you first need to decide if the idea has ANY merit at all before you start asking if its bad ..

I have no problem debating something that has merit , but why debate a stupid idea..

Like if i made a proposal to make all milk purple... is there any reason for a debate ? why discuss its negative aspects until we first discern if the idea has any merit..

I have an idea , lets create a domain extension called .stb . me and my friends will control it , charge more than normal domains , and we will censor it based on whatever we feel is appropriate at the time. :)
