Newest eBay spoof/phish campaign...
I just got hit with (from my experiences) the latest spoof/phish/whatever-you-call-it campaign. It's an "email from a member" asking me to buy something that the original bidder didn't pay for. It's not that this approach is wholly original, but when I opened the e-mail, all links went back to appropriate eBay stuff, except the link to see what the item was...which asked for my login info from a numeric-based site.
I bid on a lot of shit, so I almost fell for it. I used to laugh at these...now I report them all. |
ya i get those weekly

i got something
not even with a fake return ebay mail. saying something like " apparently someone was using your membership on this IP so can you please confirm your details " |
They're getting craftier and craftier with those.
