I keep seeing this site posted and I see how its growing in popularity, but how long until the big companies smarten up and see this guy is ripping shit from Television and putting it online to make money..

The guy has a ton of shit from comedy central, cbs, nbc, conan episodes, mad tv, scenes from movies.. Removing watermarks.

I give this kid from ohio a few months before he has some multi million dollar lawsuits against him.

There's tons of them popping up everyday, it's like every 17 year old has read how ebaumsworld made that guy a few million and want to copy him.

they sure are making big bucks, but i dont think it would be that easy to actually catch hold of them , which is why they have been here and the site is up running for such a long time. The television companies are no fools to keep quiet about it

It's pretty easy to catch someone now, especially with all teh sponsors they advertise

I have talked about these sites before there are tons of them and they all have more traffic than I could ever dream of. Yet, they exist and have no issues.

Can they really get in trouble with the news stuff like from comedy central? After all that's exactly what they do on the daily show.. They re broadcast stuff all the time that was aired on other stations.

Maybe there is a time limit like with music sampling

This site has been up less then a month.. The other sites have all the same crap content and like someone says they all steal from big-boys and the older sites, big boys steals alot of shit too..

This guy is actually ripping shit from TV, thats the difference. I could tivo the Vmas and put it up on my site, I bet it would be online less then a week before I'am sued.

I think the reason for why they are not getting sued is that they are not making money directly off the projection of the copyright material, but off the traffic that material creates. They do not charge an "admission fee" to see the content.

They make their money off the ppl who pay to have banners on their site.


I'm no lawyer, but I think what they are doing is legal.

Check it out. All the companies are afraid to sue anyone, cause they know even though they dont like there content being out like that, its usually only small segments and the exposure is crazy so its worth it.

Pipecrew, I heard about you guys for the first time through a watermark on a video I saw playing on collegehumor.com I think. So thats exactly my point why nobody is getting busted for this. People are making money.

I have had people rip my DVDs and I hate the timing they choose but at the same time if we bust them it would send the wrong message out to everyone. Everybody would be scared to post our content and if your trying to brand and get madd exposure you dont want to do that. So in otherwords your kind of fucking yourslef over if you bust people for this and the case gets well known on the internet. :2 cents:

Corporate American doesn't give a damn about these sites because they are not taking money away from anyone.

Hell, for the most part they are even leaving the sites alone that rip full TV shows. If I miss the latest episode of Prison Break, it's not like I can go to prisionbreak.com and download it for a buck. I'm sure that day will come, but until then nobody is out anything.
