why do people call people with orange hair redheads? i've truly never seen anybody, male or female, with red hair - but lots with orange hair - so show me a true redhead.

my ex-girlfriend was red-haired but the color is not flaming red .. you know what i mean ... maybe only the real Irish could be red not orange

good point but some black people truly are black as midnight and there are people with white skin.

red is not just one color, many shades of red, my wifes hair is red, and orange head just doesn't sound right.
