My desk is a horrible mess.. loads of dirty dishes, empty food cans/bags/whatnot etc etc.

It's just like me, unclean and smelly.

they pulled all my shit out.. i haven't cleaned up yet other than putting stuff up on the desk because i've been working mostly from the office and my second home machine which in an incredible stroke of luck was in being repaired when they broke in... im moving house soon so i'm waiting until i pack the whole house up to even go NEAR it :)

they also helped clean up my other playground by picking up my semi acoustic cello both my electric guitars and other misc musical gear.. not being musical connoisseurs they left my theremin and digital 8-track.

That Gibson sure brought back some memories. I had a single pickup back in the 60's, then bought the double pickup model with the 'swangy' bar, then in the 70's I bought a Gibson EB0 ltd edition.. all with that body style and cherry stain.. Sure do miss em.. :(

they are THE rock guitar lol.. actually im a les paul freak as well :).. but i just can't go past a cherry red SG :)

unfortunately this is only a sammick factory replica.. a temporary replacement - it's unfortunate but i need to replace my machine and everything first. And it will be at least six months before i fork out for a quality cello again.. but can you imagine a house without guitars?? i was pacing back and forth - it was just SO EMPTY.. i just had to go to the store and buy one...

at least they didn't take my br-8... i mean they stole my $25 IRON! but not my $1000 digital 8 track lol.. thank christ.

fuck i wish i knew my insurance lapsed.. im suing the security company though.. i was broken into on the nights of the 25th AND 26th but when i rang when i was notifyed of the disturbance they said the heat had probably triggered the alarm and it was just a flase one because the police hadn't reported anything to them.. but the police had logged arriving at the scene both nights.. by telling me it was a false alarm i wasn't able to get someone around to my place to secure it to prevent the second night's break in. (i was about 900km away at the time) when most of my stuff would have been stolen (after they had cased the joint/been surprised by the alarm the first time).. bleh it sucks..

i overclocked my chip 500% so i have to have an enlarged cooling fan...

What does a T1 cost to your house and don't you have any UPSes for the servers :)

Here a 64k line costs $400/month wonder why i choose hosting in usa :Graucho

I have a T1 here as well, paying about $695/mo thru ClearWorks

Usually get a lot more done when my secretary gets on with her work rather than splaying herself all over the place when I go and get the coffee.
