That's in Brazil btw, and a good chunk of those guns were taken from criminals, so it's a good thing they got rid of them.

I don't see the point of guns. If you don't hunt, don't work in law enforcement nor the army.. then what's the reason? To kill someone? Is it a boyhood fantasy to grow up, own guns, then kill someone?

Then why own anything you don't use every day??? Artwork is pretty useless too.

Actually there's a national campaign run by our government to get rid of guns. It's been going on for more than a year, where they collected more than 1500k weapons. It's voluntary, but government will give you $150 for each weapon and make no questions regarding how you got them.

And no, it's just a peon driving the bulldozer. :)
