7 years back, what was the IM program
 

...that was widely used? It seems like it had the word "pal" in it, but maybe not. This is driving me crazy, so mucho thanks to anyone who knows.

Not Pointcast, but the ICUSEEME seems to stir a brain cell in the vast wasteland of my memory. ;)

I think AIM was around 7 yrs ago. Thats around the time AOL bought ICQ if I remember correctly.

My first messenger was AOL... and I talked on Napster a lot. I guess I'm not as old. :)
