what do u think that works better, subtitling or bad english in movies for paysite ?
 

Its simple, in a week we'll start shooting exclusive content here in Buenos Aires for a paysite we are developing.
All of us (includen models) are Argentinian people, so we speak spanish. Of course, me and my partner know english a little and could speak understable english, but models I'm sure know nothing about english language.

All the site will be shooted in that way (argentinian models in Buenos Aires)

What would be better to you (and potential customers) ?

1-Speak everything in spanish and then add subtitles to be more natural?

2-Try to Speak everything in english the best we can (would be horrible when model try to say something)

3-Let the model speak spanish (with translation) but the other voices in understandable english (from me and my partner)

4-Other way to do that?

5- Just show lots of naked girls and good fucking scenes. Guys don't want to hear anything other than her moaning.

So, I understand that if don't want to hear anything, then there is no problem with a little subtitling for someone that look for some interesting script.

But I think if nobody understand the videos, that would affect the fact that people signs up to the site.

There are so much porn around that we thougth that if we aren't originals with the concept/script (even small), then we'll have less oportunities to succeed.

Have them speak spanish.

Then have english actors do voice-overs. This way you'll have the movie in both languages.

This way people can choose if they want to listen to either the Spanish or English version (just like on a mainstream DVD)

Why do these models you speak of need to speak? I thought they were paid to get naked and fucked silly

Because we have an "argument" around the site, girls that want to catch the tourist atention showing how horny and sexy Argentinian girls can be..

There are small clips with the girl in tourist interest places of Buenos Aires, doing like she is just walking around, in that part we want to inform a little about our city (just a few words about the place for that clip).

We also would like to cover a little the culture of our country, Tango, Futbol, and other things..

Anyway.. its just an idea, this Friday we start shooting, then we will see what next.

Sub titles suck ass..broken/poor english is the way to go

For english actors, just put an ad in your local paper. I'm sure there are plenty of people in Argentina that speak English.

Or ask on GFY if anybody here has a recording studio to do this kind of work. I know alot of companies in LA specialize in voice translations.

option 2 is the best seriously... try to say everything in english.

Get it done right off the bat by a professionnal. Start things off right.

I come from an area where alot of content is dubbed. Its the logical thing to do. Bad accents just want to make you laugh and just cries out amateur.

Seriously now, I distribute mainly foreign stuff to vidstores ( Italian, French, Romanian, Hungarian, German, Russian ) and most of the time it is in original language.

On DVD, some titles were produced with the original track and then a dub-english track .

But I never saw subtitles lately for porn :1orglaugh

I think that I will do it saying everything in english (concept, description of places, etc..) and then have a little conversation with the girl in spanish, (20,30 sec max) before she takes her clothes off. ;)

So you could take a look at it and tell me if needs translation, and other things you want to say. :)
