How many of you use MS SQL Server?
 

hey

just wondering how many ppl here use MS SQL Server. If so, how much DB space are you using? And how much are you paying for it?

trying to get an idea if it's worth using MS SQL Server cost/performance/capabilities wise versus other DB options.

this would be for submission scripts and some other things... please list, if you are able, what you are using MS SQL Server for as well.. or if you use another DB for whatever...

Drop MS SQL and start using MySQL - its free and can run on stable/secure Unix os like Linux/FreeBSD

MS SQL is target to worms, reboots and BSODs

unless you have to use a windows server, depends what application you are doing.

but mysql is good enough. even mysql cant handle some of the stuff we are doing. a 10 gig database search queries.

depends on your application again.
