Would be better at 48hrs. That's enough to get promos going for peeps that aren't active. By the time they get your announcement, they will have already lost a few hours, maybe even the full 24hrs... plus it's the weekend.

Yes, Lensman has no love for the boys but I have not been formally told to stop posting or promoting or announcing. FireFox bites me in the ass once in awhile. Got to remember to keep checking all my pages.

A ton of people swear by FireFox, but I think most surfers are still using IE so that is what I use for the most part.

Nice promo. I don't give two shits about the politics of whatever happened in the past, so I threw a few links up. Some of the sites look nice enough. I missed about six hours of the promo, though :Oh crap

Using the standard linking code I get no pop-ups on the landing page, and one or two pops after backing out of the join page. Nothing major - I had no big problem getting back to my site.

The site I linked from is strictly pop-free, so I did put a small mention that the sites may have popups, but that doesn't seem to have stopped anyone from clicking. If there's no effect on my traffic or complaints from surfers, I may have to rethink my anti-popup stance.

I'll be sending around 100 hits an hour to test. Not much, but a couple thousand should be enough for a couple of sales. I'll see how it goes. If it works out for me, great. I'll be ready for the next promo. If not, I got a couple of blog entries out of it :)

That's another good thing about blogs. They can be instantly updated to spam whatever new promo arrives in my inbox - without interfering with my regular ads.

Don't be greedy. $100 is a great promo regardless of the amount of time.

thanks KMR but I just joined the team here at QB and am learning the internals of the program please bare with me as there is a lot to learn about the company and the program. i am doing my best with the tools that I have and working remotely is also a difficult task at times being so far away from my head office and this is not my only occupation. I am not a newbie but I do not claim to be a vetran either but I do take pride in what I do and work hard at it!
