Who here has a good STOCK TRADING system?

Anybody here who trades online have a good system that they can recommend? I'm thinking about researching "trend trading" but I don't know the particulars yet. Does anybody in here use a trading system or do y'all create your own?

I recommend trying scottrade.com - easy system and none of the extra fees like most online brokers. If you do not know what your doing your probaly better off working with a personal broker to help you build and manage your portfolio.

Just listen to Mad Money with Jim Cramer every night! He's done an astonishing 0.94% return since he started his wacko show.

I'll never understand why people try to play with stocks themselves, why don't you contact a financial broker, here you can even find one at every bank

they have portfolios that will fit any kind of investor - from the most agresive high risk players to the oldies that want to make some money but keep their sleep

I already know about mutual funds and other long term investment strategies. But that's not what I"m asking for right now.

cramer is a psycho, he is funny to watch but i wouldnt take his advice.

notice the disclaimer they just started a month ago, cause someone lost a lot of money after taking his advice. and they tried to take him to court.

A good trading system is only a small piece of the pie. Check out www.EliteTrader.com if you want to learn some things.

Sure, his program utilizes covered calls, with a focus on capital preservation.
ie no naked calls - you always have protection in place.
He offers a manual, screener service, and autotrade. His results are posted on his site.
The manual is easy to understand, right to the point with tons of examples. I don't have a head for financial stuff, but his manual was an easy read for me. I am very happy with the results I have been getting following his screener service, and he is now starting a new strategy using credit spreads that looks like better possible returns.

I am up over 22% since 2001 on a bunch of strategic long term trades but what I do isn't what I would call a system. I just ignore the emotional end of trading and buy when the sheep are fleeing (provided everything else about the company is stable).
