Do you use ref codes?
 

when you are lookin for a program and someone gives you a ref code to you just go to thesite.com instead of thesite.com/ref ?

I will use ref codes unless the person who left it is a total piece of dick cheese.

Always use a refcode.
Either I support the boards where I post by signing up thru the advertiser banners or I go to a couple of resource sites owned by some good people.

I'm truly disappointed when I recommened someone a program and then they don't join through me.

It depends really. mostly i just click the link provided if I want to check it out. If I have time I'll join otheriwse I book mark it and go back later. sometimes it takes a while for me to get back so cookies are usually not set

on other forums when posting about a program we post with and without ref link

vast majority of our community joins under the aff refs

no ref links for me, that extra money to pay the other webmaster has to come from somewhere, the antics in this industry are bad enough, having to pay one webmaster let alone 2. Especially if the other webmaster is nothing but a referral whore with no traffic of his own, someone like manowar :1orglaugh

I've signed up under a few people. Just matters who I talk to and who tells me about the program
