I just bought a BMW M3 Convertible AS WELL!! (pics)

This one had water/flood damage, but no reported damage to the engine.

the color is super hot too!

this pretty much means that I get to drive the BMW until the 350z is repaired, and once it is repaired, I get to choose which one to keep and sell the other one for profit!

how exciting!!!

he bought it with a salvage title.

in some states.. NC for instance. there is no such thing as a salvage title. i could buy that from him, retitle it here in NC and sell it here as a top rung bmw.

so pinky, where are you gettin all these salvage cars from? ebay?

You won't be able to get top dollar, but you aren't paying anywhere near top dollar to begin with.

There's always a buyer, regardless.

SGS 09-09-2005 10:08 AM

Nice car and it just goes to show that sometimes the wait is worth it. :)

CherryLipsRosa 09-09-2005 10:52 AM

Nice car but i am not a BMW fan!

djroof 09-09-2005 10:54 AM

congrats!!!

Fresh 09-09-2005 10:57 AM

if you keep the 350 your an idiot. But then again beemers are known to have electrical probs, its pretty risky pickin up a flooded one. I fliped salvage cars for a few years and always came across the same problem, flooded MBs and BMWs hardly ever go back to normal.

Sweet car tho.

Bigfuck 09-09-2005 10:57 AM

Nice car :)

axelcat 09-09-2005 11:03 AM

FuqALot 09-09-2005 11:21 AM

Sosa 09-09-2005 11:23 AM

keep the m3 if it all runs ok.

DutchTeenCash 09-09-2005 11:24 AM

nice doesnt seem to be a problem car

hova 09-09-2005 11:36 AM

In holland that's a typical scum car, I hope that isn't the case in your city

IceMaster 09-09-2005 11:39 AM

I love the M3. Nice car.

Doctor Dre 09-09-2005 11:41 AM

I'l take the 350 over a beemer ... too many beemers arround

EroticySteve 09-09-2005 11:44 AM

Keep the M3. How bad is the damage on the 350z?

Oh and Brand0n, NC does require you to disclose whether or not the car has been salvaged or has been damaged more than 25% in value. Big mistake not to disclose that in NC, that's an easy win for an NC lawyer.

No way, i'd rather have something twice as fast and cool then a girls car.

I dont think thats an original color for BMW, so its most likely be repainted, check for collisions and stuff.

Anyone that has been in an accident and had their car repaired knows that it never runs the same as when its new, thats the same deal with these salvage ones. You gotta be careful, and like the other guy said, you cant flip it like its new.

LittleSassy 09-09-2005 11:50 AM

nice car....congrats!

Pete-KT 09-09-2005 11:51 AM

Nice car BDjuf

If you take the car to a bodyshop you know and leave it there for 3 months, the bodyshop claims you havnt paid for its repairs and has the right to put a lien on it. If the lien is not removed within the 3 months, DMV hands over papers to the body shop as the owner of the car. And the new papers dont say salvage. Its just a glitch. So, you basicly pull the car out of the salvage title.

This isnt the easiest thing to do but its possible and its been done before.

i like high end beemers a lot ... but this model ? no thanx. I'd take a Deville over it anytime if I want a classy car (I know it's not the same category but just saying)
