My husband travels to Russia on business often and even there it costs about 150$ for 250 g can.

there is an omelette with caviar you can order in some restaurant on Times Square that cost $15,000.00 i believe... or its 5k... its the record for most expensive omelette though

in Russia I can find the best black beluga caviar for pennies on the dollar. We ate for a week with family with bowls of black beluga caviar that in a whole week only cost like $100

I never got over the smell of caviar.
