Just hadda pull a dead deer from the road
 

small baby deer my wife camin crying and asked me to drive down and remove it. :(

be sure a ranger does'nt catch you, he might think you did it. Now I don't know if it's true but... I heard that if you swerve or hit one it's against the law. Anyone know if it's true?

In most states its illegal to posess a dead deer with out the porper tag or license. But for road kill its always a good idea to report it to a wildlife officer if youre gonna move it. That way they can add it to the census of road kill animals.

I saw a baby cow dead on the side of the road the other day. I made a dukes and hazzard u-turn to check it out more closely. It had been dead a couple of days.

Aw, its always even more sad when it's a baby.

Why is this?
They both are animals either a year or two old or occassionally older. I would find it more sad if it was a mature doe than a baby.
