We take a look at animal rescues and reunions in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. The Executive Director of Louisiana's Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals joins us from Baton Rouge.

I just watched a short piece on ABC news a few minutes ago that showed the shelters and the animals being rescued. They showed a few families being reunited with their pets. You should of seen the joy and happiness that it brought to them. Even after they lost their house and everything they own. They were very very thankful to be re-united with their pets. It brought tears of joy to their eyes. Much more than a 2K dollar debit card would have.

www.noahswish.com is taking part in the rescue efforts, I believe there is another charity as well but I don't have the url atm
