Hunter S. Thompson's Suicide note
"No More Games. No More Bombs. No More Walking. No More Fun. No More Swimming. 67. That is 17 years past 50. 17 more than I needed or wanted. Boring. I am always bitchy. No Fun _ for anybody. 67. You are getting Greedy. Act your old age. Relax _ This won't hurt."

so many writers go down that path...bored with life i guess
thats sad man. what a way to go
Pretty sad indeed.
thanks for the new sig
sad..............
how did he kill himself?
sad? he went out exactly how he always planned to, he lived 17 past what he imagined he would
he lived a full crazy life i hope when I reach that age and am bored as he was, that I have the balls to do the same sometimes you just know when your life is over, and you don't always have to wait for the grim reaper, you can just get it over with yourself |
a great man... his suicide payed tribute to his idol- hemingway.
Pretty harsh, R.I.P. once more for a phenomenal writer. i've read his works quite a few times...His style of writing was rather unique.
A very close friend of his might have said to him something along the lines of 'As your attorney I advise you to put a bullet in your skull and proceed to your final journey. This shall be the final attempt at gonzo journalism at its finest. Fuck, life at this age is no fun, you're bitchier than most Samoans I know.' I'm no Hunter S. Thompson. Consider this as a tiny tribute to a great man. :bowdown |
