Anyone see the documentary on HIV - Fact or Fiction

There is some pretty scary stuff in it. Somehow it wouldn't surprise me to find out that HIV and AIDs is a bunch of bullshit.

But, I'm no scientist so I'll just try to be "safe instead of sorry."

Anyone else got an opinion?

That whole aids is created hawgwash is hilarious.

How do you know? Are you a scientist? Doctor? Tatoo artist thats taken a few courses? Did you even at least see the video that I'm referring to?

At the very least I am willing to do a bit of research and look at all the information available. You think that since we basically fuck for a living in this industry we would be more concerned about this sort of thing.

If it is bullshit then we as an industry are paying a small fortune each year without reason.

FACTS:
About Condoms:

1.Most people do not even know the proper way to put on or use a condom. (eg. Most people just slide the darn thing on and don't even bother to pinch the end first )

2. They cause a false sense of security

3. They break regularly.

4. Latex alergies are common and this can cause open sores that can become infected or increase the change of STD transmission. Sex workers without Latex allergies can suffer too because of condoms constantly drying out the vagina. (Lube is not the perfect solution if you fuck 20 times a day.)

5. They do nothing to stop Herpies

6 . There are "Best Before dates," "Storage procedures" and it isn't advised to carry them around in your wallet.

And the list can go on and on.

The lest we should do in this industry is discuss everything. Good, Bad, Facts, Fictions, Conspiracy or any other damn thing that concerns our health as sex-workers.

Posting photos of Tinfoil Hats and just walking away from the conversation is just plain stupid. All dialog is good dialog.
