2. Bush had over half of Mississippi?s and Louisiana?s over fighting a pointless war in Iraq?hence, the slow emergency response.

His approval #?s are now on the low 30% -- even stupid ass people are starting to take notice?and since he?s so tight with God?couldn?t he just have prayed Katrina away?

Katrina is a Natural Calamity. It is not even something God wanted to give to His people nor Bush could pray for not to happen. The only thing to do is for the people to be united and to stop stoning blames.

He knew the hurricane was coming and was going to be a huge bitch!
He should have had things started to prepare for it, ready to save the people.
He took days and days to respond to the dying people!

What do you think about the fact that we turned down 1,100 medical doctors trained in infectious diseases and disasters from Cuba. Why does it have to be political when people are dying in the streets.

Is our Gov't just emabarrassed that Castro has more compassion for our people than our own Goverment? Trust me I am not a fan of Castro but he has much more to lose than us. he would be sending highly trained doctors that work for pennies on the dollar. You think they are going to want to go home after the offers come rolling in here. I dont think so!!! So what does he get out of it? Some good publicity. Well seems like a fair price to save human lives!!!

Here's a hint boys and girls: Bush doesn't get to make one single decision that affects the US all by himself.

As far as Katrina, there is more than enough blame to go around, from Bush, to Brown, to Blanco, to Nagrin, to the gangs, to the people who were told over a month before the hurricane that the city had no way to transport them out in case of a major disaster.

I just got done with my corparate and personal taxes and if Bush has saved me a dime...I had to write checks to the IRS for almost 200K! I would love to see where Bush helped me in all of that. Think about it, they (inmates) are ready for combat, the people we sent there were not. Now they are going to return fucked up in the head because of the shit they encountered while there, that is if they even make it back.....this idea just makes sense to me.
