OK, who else thinks Bush is going to be toast after Katrina?
Can you say "lame duck"? |

Nothing is going to happen to Bush because of the hurricane.. because well.. Bush has nothing to do with it :upsidedow |

1. Had his college buddy ?Brownie?, whose previous job was a horse show judge (and he got canned from that), heading up FEMA. 2. Bush had over half of Mississippi?s and Louisiana?s over fighting a pointless war in Iraq?hence, the slow emergency response. His approval #?s are now on the low 30% -- even stupid ass people are starting to take notice?and since he?s so tight with God?couldn?t he just have prayed Katrina away? |

9/11 happened on his watch ? we gave him that? WMD as a justification for war in Iraq? we gave him that? Now he completely drops the ball on the Katrina response? ? Are we supposed to give him that too? What do you guys see that I don?t? I just don?t get it. I just don?t. |
Putting all the blames to Bush couldn't solve this Katrina crisis. That is.

If you want to play the blame game regarding this huricane then thats cool.. But if you're going to do that then you need to place the majority of the blame where it belongs.. on the local and state governments. The whole "God" aspect of this.. well I don't contribute much in that direction be it positive, negative, or whatever. |

On top of that.. I don't recall anybody giving him any of that. That makes about as much sense as saying that Clinton sold ICBM technology to China which resulted in a hurricane. |
people that agree on what?

He is the president!
He knew the hurricane was coming and was going to be a huge bitch! He should have had things started to prepare for it, ready to save the people. He took days and days to respond to the dying people! He smirks on the news when he first spoke about the devestation! People will still probably vote for him because people are brain dead, the majority of people are stupid and this with his rigged election tricks (as seen on Moores movie) means I dont think he will be going anywhere. Sometimes I cant understand how people like him are around in the top job, was so sad seeing those people dying on the news, really sad, I know there were idiots raping and killing people, but not as many as dubya has killed. |

"BLAME GAME..." I say "LAME GAME"...It's easy to cry about a blame game but it is very hard for anyone to answer 2 of the questions I have just poised: 1. Had his college buddy ?Brownie?, whose previous job was a horse show judge (and he got canned from that), heading up FEMA. First letter of FEMA stands for FEDERAL!! Google it if you need to! 2. Bush had over half of Mississippi?s and Louisiana?s over fighting a pointless war in Iraq?hence, the slow emergency response. Louisiana and Mississippi didn't declare war on Iraq -- Bush did!! Take your "blame game" and stick it in your ass!! :321GFY |

The whole reason why we have city/state governments.. ahh fuck it it's obvious that you just want to exploit this opportunity to piss on Bush. Its not by any means entirely because of the President. To suggest otherwise is well.. fucking stupid plain and simple. Sorry not to be rude.. that is the truth of the matter and I don't need to finalize my post with a :321GFY to empathize it either. |
when i think about you, i touch myself

me too!! very odd |
Well that is too agreeable!! Bush is an easy target. Too easy to dislike.
What do you think about the fact that we turned down 1,100 medical doctors trained in infectious diseases and disasters from Cuba. Why does it have to be political when people are dying in the streets. Is our Gov't just emabarrassed that Castro has more compassion for our people than our own Goverment? Trust me I am not a fan of Castro but he has much more to lose than us. he would be sending highly trained doctors that work for pennies on the dollar. You think they are going to want to go home after the offers come rolling in here. I dont think so!!! So what does he get out of it? Some good publicity. Well seems like a fair price to save human lives!!! |
Here's a hint boys and girls: Bush doesn't get to make one single decision that affects the US all by himself.
As far as Katrina, there is more than enough blame to go around, from Bush, to Brown, to Blanco, to Nagrin, to the gangs, to the people who were told over a month before the hurricane that the city had no way to transport them out in case of a major disaster. |
I agree to disagree, agreeably.

Say, I owned a hosting company, I was looking for a Director of Operations and I had 2 candidates for the job. 1. I could hire the Director of Operations from Natnat (best hosting ever). 2. I could hire some bum in a cardboard box that begs for change to by my office. Say I hired the bum. Inevitably, you servers go down. The bum (having no experience at all) can?t do anything to handle the situation, your TGP is down for a month and you go broke. Sure it?s the bum?s fault that your service didn?t get back online, but (ultimately) ? it?s my fault for putting him in a position of such high responsibility. That?s exactly what happened with Katrina. Marinate on that for a minute. :thumbsup |

Not sure if I would be considered smart, but I know I was raised conservative financially. That beeneing said, conservatives have been grouped into all sorts of idiocy. Personally I would have preferred jon Mckain or bill bradley for president and what we got some years ago was al gore and bush. Now we have an endless war for oil that we will never get and 3 dollar gas. Personally I am just fuckin tired of it. We have an economy that is supported by a false housing market in the way our economy used to be supported by false stock prices. Add to this, the biggest moron in the world is choosing supreme court justices. So XXXJay, I am agrreing with you. Conservatism is supposed to mean less government, not more rules. It supposed to mean, faith in people to govern themselves and we are getting more government than we could ever want and none of it does the people of the US any good. It's bullshit. freedom and nothing else is what we are supposed to stand for. Freedom FROM religion as well as freedom of religion. Soldiers are giving their lives for dumb shit, not for frhats enough ranting for today. Long live XXXJay, I may not always agree with your opinion, but I will always fight for your right to express it. Turns out I wholeheartedly agree.

I dont know you, but most of the posts that I have ever read from you are right on. So I tend to agree with you.
Which means that I must tend to be smart. |
Here is a plan, bring our soilders back from Iraq to help our own, send prisioners (meaning people that are doing time) out to Iraq in replace of. Think about it, they (inmates) are ready for combat, the people we sent there were not. Now they are going to return fucked up in the head because of the shit they encountered while there, that is if they even make it back.....this idea just makes sense to me.
Wait, what was this thread about again? lol xo |
