My FUCKING IPOD is making loud noises!!!
 

What a piece of SHIT... I hardly use the fucking thing... after updating my playlist... that took over like 4 FUCKING hours... it's now making loud spinning noises like the harddrive is gonna FUCKING die... piece of SHIT...

that sucks :( havent heard too many bad things about them. makes me wonder how many of them are shitty.

How could it possibly take 4 hours to update your ipod? Buy a firewire card and it takes 1 minute even if you have Gigs of music.

I have a couple of ipods, including one from 2001, that are still going strong.

Those harddrives are about the size of a PMCIAA card. You can get replacement hard drives. Do you have the extended warranty? I bought mine at Best Buy, they don't question much on exchanges and they replace batteries and hard drives under warranty.

I've had that happen..... after i dropped it. Did you drop it? Just take it in and they will replace it for you. That is if you have the warranty.

Try turning down the volume and play something other than death/speed metal.
