Canadian Federal Incorporation?!

Hi,

I'd like to know if anyone out there can help me out, every books and websites I read about incorporation in Canada (numbered company) always forwards me to quebec's incorporation pages (which I do not want, 1 goverment playing in my money is enough).

I'd like to know what are the procedures, fees and requirements... as well as tax stuff... Everything I read says different stuff. Let's say I have 2 owners to my company, we pay X% of taxes for the company and then the revenue to the owners is tax free... right? (not taxed twice..)

Fucking goverment seems to make it hard to register... :P

Thanks! :helpme

By the way, don't buy "The complete idiot's guide to small business for Canadians"... the author is a complete idiot... It's a small business book for americans with a 2 page annex with canadian addresses... what a rip off.

1. No, the corporation does not pay taxes for money it spends for business uses (like paying you) but you have to pay taxes. So if you have a registered corp. you need to do taxes for the corp. and your personal income tax.

2. Take to your accountant, he/she/they/it will be able to answer those questions. Registering is quick, easy, painless and not expensive and you can even do it without a lawyer or an accountant.
