Any Electrical Engineers, Electricians Around?...portable generators
 

I have to go back and restudy electrical engineering etc. Just to make sure I have the well rounded and updated info and solid fundamentals.

I found many, many helpful resources online.

Any of you guys who do or did this kind of stuff have any recommendations?

I'm shopping for portable generators and I'm impressed at what I see. It ain't the Jetsons but I'm impressed. I do know better than to plug a generator into a household outlet..

Seems the folks in N'Orleans with portable generators are actually using them INDOORS and plugging them into their outlets! Fucking crazy!
