Hair drug tests
 

A friend of mine did a few lines of coke about 4 months ago. She is going through a custody battle and her ex is requesting she take a hair drug test. This prick knows she did the coke back then because he's the one she did it with, and now the fucker has shaved his head. So does anyone have any firsthand knowledge of these tests? I know for normal testing they usually will go back 3 months but can go back farther if they want. I read about some shampoos that will remove the shit from the hair, anyone know if they work?

I didn't research it, but isn't it a hair follicle test ? Meaning the guy will have to shave his entire body to remove ALL possible sources of hair for detection ?

For what its worth, I've been extremely lucky with drug tests. I've passed two hair tests and two piss tests after smoking weed within the prior 30 days. This leads me to believe they aren't actually testing every sample they take.

Play the bluff, and have her lawyer demand for a pubic hair, eyebrow or whatever. I know he did not shave everything.

Thanks for that fact filled response. Its not bullshit. Any drug found in the hair would be in the hair within a few weeks after use. So if you smoked weed a year ago it would be found in your hair approximately 3 inches from the scalp, since hair grows about 1/4 inch a month. So tell me how in the hell hair would hold drug use 20 years ago?

I'm not sure how long your armpit hair and pubes stay around, but they will take hair from there for drug tests.

They take a half an inch for every thirty days...

So, if you want to test for the past 30 days ... 1/2 inch
60 days ... 1 inch

Up to 90 days.

Coke doesn't stay around long, weed is the worst. Just do a Google search for it, there is tons of info on sites for it.

i dont know how long they go back but she can demand his hair be tested too of course head hair is best but any hair will do
