Meanwhile in Iraq
My former employer, Knight Ridder, wrote an interesting article last week that didn't get much notice in the US because of Katrina. The news is... the US military has been fought to a stalemate by the insurgents in the Anbar province. Today, the Washington Post reports that Qaim, the largest city near the Suyrian is now in Zarqawi's hands!
Can it get any worse? Yes. Bush still has three years left in his second term. he will make it worse. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...090500313.html |
so basically there was a battle and it was a stale mate.... yo udo realize that in wwI they had a stalemate for 3 years on one battle front

As to your second response, WWi has nothing to do with this conflict. In WWi they were several standing armies fighting at the regimental and divisional levels. This is a stalemate which shouldn't happen. The US should be too advanced for this to happen. It means we are undermanned and unwanted. It means the insurgents have learned how to fight us effectively. |
They run across the border when we start to attack them, we cant touch them in Syria(yet). Its the same fucking thing thats happening in AFghanistan with Al Qaeda and the Taliban. They run to fucking pakistan everytime we fart in that direction. Give me a break lol these ragheaded fucks cant win or even COMPARE to the US military. If we were unchained without half these liberal pukes riding our coat tails believe me that place would be a sheet of fucking glass by now. Nuke + Sand = Glass.
