Exactly the USA doesn't need a draft for a war in our own territory. All the government would have to do is ship in supplies and you can believe shit would be taken care of.

Cuba might have a big enough army? To be honest and thinking about it. That was major big storm!! The size of the gulf with more power than most nations have. A country would have to go nuclear to do that much damage.

Plus there would be no confusion about chain of command if shots were fired by another country.

Sadly, if China did attack our mainland, the response would have to get real ugly quick. So not having a bigger armed force means that we have to turn to our technology and big weapons sooner. That includes nuclear.

Some fool president shipped the technology to China to deliver weapons to our shores accurately. Maybe that will be his legacy. Hint, it wasn't Bush.

America is even a sitting target for the French. I live in France and they are very pissed off over the Bill O'riley boycott and calling things "Freedom Fries," "Freedom toast" and even "Freedom tickler."

No one is going to attack you. But I would honestly be more scared of letting that idiot in your white house call the shots. Bring back Bill Clinton because he would have had this mess cleaned up by now.

You can thank good old slick willie for that. Granted we have a lot of troops in other places, but Clinton downsized the military a great deal. I know because I served during his administration and saw exactly how the cuts took a huge slice out of the military.

The only good thing is that we have become more technologically advanced than most other countries when it comes to miltary weapons. Can we beat China? I doubt it their army is massive.

Not to worry, China is not sending troops here. It's Taiwan that has to worry and that will be the flash point that could cause the problems. As we really are a little thin to cover their ass too right now.
