"oracle grid" will this make it into webhosting?
 

been looking at this "oracle grid" technology.

the gist of it is a bunch of low tech servers connected with software for redundancy---if any server fails it just keeps running.

anyone know of a host using this?

Sounds like what google uses.

Never seen it in action myself though.

i saw the add on tv also, looks neat but I don't see it working for dedicated box customers,

umm, not new technology, its round robin or cluster farm, was mainly thought up to process math stuff in less time but has benefits for companies too
