Every day updates are a great thing, but I often get so busy that i forget. So I'm doing the whole twice a week bit.

Actually, in a way it's true. Most blog software is tied in with services that track how often you update.

And I am talking out my ass here, but search engines SEEM to give more relevency to blogs that are more often updated.

Also, bookmarkers come back more often if you update often. Just makes sense, eh?

I am updating them everyday, but as its a lot of work, i am thinking to swith them to every two day or three.

Every 3rd week of the month on a tuesdayevening when Ive bought a nice beer and feel like updating wordpress while watching my girlfriend walk by in a thong.

I have a couple I update every day - sometimes multiple times. Others that get updated two-three times a week, a few I update less. For the less frequently updated blogs, I can usually schedule a month's worth of updates in a couple of hours.

The main ones I generally update over the course of the day. If I find something interesting, I blog it - instead of posting it on GFY :)

As you can probably tell by my inability to stop typing long after I've made my point, I have no problem updating a number of blogs, and I find it a lot more interesting than pumping out templated free sites, tgps, and galleries.

Traffic grows slowly and steadily, with 90% of new traffic coming from Yahoo, MSN, and Google. I'm a patient guy. No rush.

Seriously, if you can post a hundred times a day at GFY, you could just as easily update a dozen blogs.

My goal is every day on my three main blogs. I'm content with every other day, and I can get by (when life is busy) with every third or fourth day. But daily updates are best.

Fleshbot has a paid "editor" and makes six-to-twenty posts a day. No accident that they have huge traffic.

Mine are updated every day.. I (or one of the people who write for me) write about 10 days in advance and then the system just posts them when the date I set for each entry is reached..

We update daily. One of our blogs updates hourly (through auto RSS)

pre-posting entries is great. I'll sit down and bust out a ton of posts and then let them auto-post themselves over the next few weeks.
