You think Bush will do anything but give his college buddy/ FEMA director praises for his efforts? The guy currently running FEMA and the head asshole in charge of it were non other than one of Bush's long time good olé boy friends that Bush gave the job too.

This guy didn't have any experience in disaster work or anything close to it.. But he was budies with Dubya so I guess that's good enough.

fema is a joke. it just came to light that they paid for over 200+ FRAUDULENT funerals from last years hurricanes in florida. some of the funerals they paid on were for people who died months before the storms hit. such a sick misuse of funds. these people should be prosecuted.

wonder who they could possibly be delivering newspapers to right now? the circulation is probably around 3 copies. i feel sorry for the NO people, its jsut gotta be so frustrating at this point.

I am not defending that idiot that is running Fema, but I know that the job is a major pain in the ass, and hard as hell when they get slammed like that. Even with a few days warning, FEMA Is not the Millitary, and that have a hard time mobilizing. It is a major logistical thing.

But that people that defraud FEMA only make it harder, and the process slower for the others. And Yes, they will send the fuckers to jail for it.

What about Chertoff? Director of "Homeland Security," "We had no idea. Our model didn't show this." Everyone else's model did. And this man is the Director for my nation's security??? WTF?!?!

Bush wanted control of the La. Nat'l Guard and the Gov. (whom you KNOW turned and asked Lt. Gen. Honore, CG, LANG, and he probably rolled his eyes) said "No!" If the Feds took control of the LANG, nothing would get done.
