Alexa or Something Else?
When you guys judge websites, what tools do you like using? For the longest time I've been using Alexa to judge websites popularity. Lots of people believe its inaccurate, but never the less I find it as a really good tool.
What do you guys think? |
i use alexa
it is in the long run it shows the stats as more accurate |
i use alex, and archive.org so i can see the changes of the site and it helps me determine their business goals by learning of their past
|
alexa cant tell you sales of course but ive found it to be an excellent comparison tool, and the traffic history is useful too. archive.org is awesome but i only ever thought to use it if i specifically wanted to check a page that used to exist.. i should use it more often to check history :)
|
anyone have any idea how big the storage drives are at archive.org ?
that has to be fucking amazing |
i use alexa too..itīs a great comparison tool
|
Anyone heard of ranking.com ? you think they are better then alexa?
|
maybe alexa the best for the now :)
|
God i hate alexa so much! When my site was 20k it showed it was @ 40k. Now its actually at 40k and it shows 20k! WTF alexa! :sadcrying :sadcrying
